DIY: Manicure at home

This is very easy and simple. I use VLCC pedicure and manicure kit for doing manicure at home. There are some steps to do manicure. So, let’s go through them.

Steps/procedure

1.       Cleanse your hands by adding cleanser to lukewarm water. Soak your hands in water for 15-20 minutes. After 15-20 minutes, just remove your hands from water and towel them dry.

2.       Now file your nails, buff them and shine them with shiner.

3.       Take scrub and massage it on your hands for 5 minutes and then remove it with sponge.

4.       Take some cream and massage it for 10 minutes and then cleanse your hands with sponge.

5.       Apply pack on your hands, let it dry for about 15 minutes and then remove it with sponge. If you want you can wash your hands also. Voila we are dome with our manicure at home.

The Body Shop Lip and Cheek Velvet Stick

The Body Shop is well known brand. This is my first purchase from The Body Shop. My sister had purchased body wash and her experience was amazing. So, I saw this Lip and Cheek Velvet Stick which I thought was so cute and then I just purchased it.

Packaging

It is white in color with floral print design on which the name The Body Shop Lip and Cheek Velvet Stick is printed in silver and black. The ending part is in the shade of Velvet Stick inside. This ending part can be twisted, so no need to sharpen the stick. The cap is white color. After you open the cap, you get the actual product which is really soft and blendable.

Color and texture

I have the shade Poppy Coral with me. It is really a pretty shade. It is not so pigmented but we can build it up on our cheeks if we want a dark shade on our cheeks. It is really very soft and smooth in texture as it is cream blush, we can feel the softness when we are applying it on our cheeks or lips.

Application

You can apply it directly from the stick on cheeks and blend it with your hands, makeup brush or beauty blender (Whichever way you prefer to blend). You can directly apply it on your lips or take the product from a lip brush and apply it on your lips (Again whichever way you are comfortable)

Pros

Cons

1.       It is a bit expensive considering the pigmentation of product, I mean I thought that the product will be really pigmented like one swipe will be enough but after using it I came to know that it is not so much pigmented for the price we are paying

Would I recommend this product to others and will I repurchase it again?

Yes, I would recommend the product to others considering the cute packaging and considering the pigmentation, it is a kind of product which can be used on daily basis as it is not too dark for our cheeks or lips. Again not a compulsion to buy, but you guys can try it if you want to. It is not a kind of product without which we can’t live without. I wouldn’t repurchase it as I have tried once, I had purchased it as I loved the packaging and to try for once.

DIY face mask: Reduces tan, dark spots, acne and pimples

Hello pretty girls hope you are fine. This is a DIY which I have been using since my college days. So, just thought of sharing my experience about this DIY. This DIY helps in reducing tan, dark spots, acne and pimples with less cost. Best part is that you don’t have to buy any expensive products and they are products which can easily be found in your kitchen.

Ingrediants:

Wild Turmeric/Ambe Hald/ Kasturi Manjal: Just a pinch

Gram flour or Chickpea flour or in Hindi it is known as besan: 1 spoon 

Fresh lemon Juice: 4-5 drops

Honey: 2-3 drops

Fresh and unflavored curd or yoghurt: 1 spoon

Water: 4-5 drops just for consistency

Method:

Add Gram flour or besan with turmeric in a bowl or any container. Then add fresh lemon juice, honey and curd or yoghurt into it. Mix everything and if required then add water for making the paste like consistency. Apply it to your face with your hands or any facial brush.

Important thing: Don’t add too much turmeric otherwise it will stain your face. If by mistake you have done that then don’t worry, after washing your face remove those stains with makeup removing wipes or wet wipes. 

Use it once or twice a week for 2- 3 months. Do try it my angels and remember it is a long run process it won’t reduce anything once. You have to use this for 2-3 months continuously and then you will get results. But it will help your skin become smooth and soft from first use itself. And for some people the results show up in 2-3 uses also. So, use it and let me know in comments if you got the results or not. If you wanna ask any question you can chat with me in comments.

Miss Claire Mascara

I have two mascaras in Miss Claire brand, i.e. transparent and black. Transparent mascara gives length to our eyelashes but doesn’t give much volume. But the best part of this mascara is that it feels as if u have naturally long lashes. Black mascara gives length as well as volume to our lashes. It does both things in little. Here, I mean it gives us medium length and volume. It doesn’t give so much length and not so much volume. It is perfect for every occasion or party or festive time. It isn’t so dramatic so anyone can use it. Both are my favorites as transparent one can be worn on daily basis and black one can be worn on occasions or festive times. Transparent one is so affordable and less cost. Black one is also not so much expensive, anyone can afford them.

Transparent mascara comes in seen through bottle with silver color twist cap. Black mascara comes in black bottle with silver color twist cap.
