Nyx Wonder Stick

I really wanted to share about this highlight and contour stick with you girls, so sharing it with you guys. So, this wonder stick does wonders really. I mean wonder stick means contour and highlight stick. It makes job of contouring and highlighting very easy seriously. If you know about it then obviously I would also agree that it is a bit expensive but important point to be noted the product does its job amazingly.

Packaging

It has a cardboard box packaging. On the front side, there is name of the product and image of the product. On the back side, shade name, shade number and description about the product is given. On other side, pictorial description is mentioned for using the product. On the fourth side, directions to use the product in words are mentioned. After we open the box, we get the highlight and contour stick aka wonder stick. It is two sided roll on/twist on stick. On one side, contour can be twisted and used. On other side, highlight can be twisted and used. In the middle of the stick the name of the product/brand is written.

Shade, Swatches and demo

My shade name and number are WS03 Deep. It is perfect for Indian skin tones. No other shade matches my skin as this shade. You can look at the swatches they are so pigmented, contour is perfectly dark and highlight also gives perfect highlighting to face.

Usage

I use it the same way it is mentioned in images on packaging. But then I blend it with PAC mini beauty blender (Red ones). Just wet mini beauty blender and dab it on highlighted and contoured areas for blending. It has really made my highlighting and contouring routine very easy, otherwise I am very lazy when it comes to highlighting and contouring. So, I am really happy about myself that I started doing highlighting and contouring regularly without skipping it. Lol (Please don’t laugh at me girls)

The Balm instain blush

I have recently started using this blush from the balm instain. This blush is awesome. I have 2 shades in it. I have toile and swiss dot. One is for me and one for my sister. They are really pigmented. They can be used in 2 ways either as blush or else as eyeshadow. I have never tried to use it as a eyeshadow but I just love how the shade looks on me. Best part is that they are matte shades.

Packaging

It is a box like packaging. It has a cute box inside it, which is like a book, I feel personally atleast. It has magnetic close. There is a girl on front and shade name written on the back. It has mirror also, so, it is easy to apply blush on the go as well.

Pigmentation

You can have a look at the pigmentation. Only one swipe and this is the color payoff. I just love the pigmentation.

Price

Even though it is a bit on expensive side, it is worth buying, packaging is main eye catcher, it is expensive and it looks expensive also.

Would I recommend this product to others and will I repurchase it again?

Yes, I would recommend it to others as there is no negative point for the product. I will surely purchase other shades in it as there are 6 shades in it; I have 2, so there are more 4 to try out.

Nyx stay matte but not flat foundation

I wanted to try out Nyx brand products from very long, but I used to resist from trying them as they were on expensive side and I had never used any product from Nyx. But finally it took lots of thinking and I purchased this foundation to try out. I purchased it because of one main reason that it was matte foundation. My shade number and name is SMF 06 Medium Beige. One more thing I like about this foundation is that it has wide variety of shades for different skin tones, so it matches various skin tones but I feel that it is a bit expensive, for more information keep on reading.

Packaging

It is really simple packaging for the price. It is transparent seen through tube with black twist open kind of cap. The brand name Nyx is written in bold large words and the name of foundation is written below it. Some small but important foundation features have been given below the name. All other details about ingredients, shade name, shade number and foundation have been given at the back of the tube. I love that it is tube kind of packaging as we can carry it on the go and touch up whenever we want.

Consistency and coverage

It is neither thick nor runny consistency. It is perfect to apply and blend on our face. I mean it is easy to blend kind of foundation. It is medium to full coverage foundation. It doesn’t cover very brown dark spots but other than that it is totally awesome.

Usage

You can apply it with your hands, foundation/buffing brush, oval brush and also beauty blender. It blends easily with anyone of them.

Yes, I recommend it to others. I know it is a bit expensive with not much fancy about packaging. But I love the foundation; it’s really matte and stays for long time which is really a important thing for the cost we are paying we are getting good foundation, so I can forget about the package. It can be tried for once in our life at least. I will repurchase it again surely.

Best mild face and body scrub ever

I saw an advertisement on homeshop18 showing this scrub which removes tan, smoothens and softens skin. So, I purchased it. Plu scrub Oriental Jin is a Korean brand scrub but believe me pretty girls, it’s worth using. Actually it’s written on the tube that it can be used only on hands, legs and body. But we can also use it on our face. I use it on my face, hands and legs. You also get a loofah for free with it. It really does what it says it removes tan, but temporarily for 2 days after you have used it. After 2^nd day again the old tan is back, so you need to use this twice or thrice a week. But it’s ok for me if my tan is reduced because I have lot of tanning on my skin as at first I was not aware of sunscreen usage and harmful effects of sun, so till the time I came to know about tanning, I was tanned a lot. And obviously now it’s too late, so I started using this scrub 1 year back and so happy with it. Also, it gives you baby soft and smooth skin.

Packaging

It comes in a purple box and on it the name of scrub is written in golden and white. Below it is written Body & Hand & Foot. At the backside all the information about ingredients, direction to use, etc is mentioned. Inside it there is a purple tube of scrub.

Colour and consistency

Scrub is brown in colour and it has neither thick nor runny consistency.

Fragrance

It has very mesmerizing fragrance which is very calming and soothing. It really makes me peaceful. I love the fragrance of it a lot.

Scrub

It is a very mild scrub, so gentle on skin that you can even use it on face. On the scrub it is written not to use on face but we have to use it carefully if we want to use it, so that it doesn’t enter our eyes as it is not very thick scrub like other scrubs.You can look at the above photo which shows that it hardly has any thick scrub like thing.

Usage

Take this scrub on your hand, take some water and scrub on desired area like hands, legs, body and face. Just a warning, while you use it on your face, just be careful and don’t take too much water as it can enter in your eyes.

Availability

It is a Korean brand and it’s just available on homeshop18. So, in India it is very difficult to get this product anywhere else. This is a big problem according to me because we can just buy it from one place, i.e. online shopping on website homeshop18.

I would surely recommend it to others and I will definitely repurchase it again but the only problem is that now other packaging of scrub is available and I am not sure about it, but when I try it I will let you guys know whether it’s worth buying or not.

Himalaya Neem Face Mask

I have been using this face mask for more than 5 months now and as you know that Himalaya 

products are affordable. So, thought of sharing my thoughts about it with you girls.

Packaging

It comes in a white tube with the name written on it. At the back of it, all information regarding the product is mentioned. It has flip top cap, so we have to flip it and take the mask. This is really helpful in application of mask.

Colour and consistency

It is dark green in colour, it reminds me of mehendi which we apply on hands and sometimes on hair. It is thick in consistency.

Usage and results

I use it once in 2 weeks, which means twice a month. Apply it all over your face, then wait for 15-20 minutes and wash it with water. Be careful when you are applying it if you have over sensitive/dry skin or burns and cuts on skin as it has a tingling sensation when we apply it on face but after sometime it goes away. So, if you can tolerate tingling sensations then only use it. It has tingling sensation because that is the way it works on our pimples or acne. I don’t have much problem, so I apply it. I use it specifically twice a month only because it has tingling, so overuse of it can create problem for me as I too have sensitive skin. But that’s Ok unless and until it has some harmful effects, which it doesn’t have, so if you want then go ahead and use it. LOL J If you have dry skin, then you can apply a bit heavy moisturizer after removing the face mask. After using this mask regularly your pimples will reduce considerably but slowly. So, please keep patience girls.
